“By supporting blockchain domains, Coinbase is single-handedly moving this market into the crypto mainstream,” said Unstoppable Domains co-founder Brad Kam. “Blockchain domains will be a standard that all crypto wallets use in the near future.”

Huobi Wallet and MyEtherWallet, among others, also currently support .crypto blockchain domains. Unstoppable Domains said it has registered over 250,000 domains to date.

Unstoppable Domains was founded in 2018 and is backed by notable investors, including Draper Associates and Boost VC. The firm has raised a total of $4.73 million to date. San Francisco-based Unstoppable Domains has also received grants from the Ethereum Foundation and the Zilliqa Foundation.
