AlphaPoint names new CEO, reorganizes its executive team

Asset tokenization software provider AlphaPoint has named Igor Telyatnikov its new CEO as it reshuffles its executive team, according to a company statement.

The New York-based company helps financial institutions tokenize their assets and trade them on exchanges. It also provides software that helps power cryptocurrency exchanges.

The appointment of Telyatnikov, formerly COO, is accompanied by the stepping down of former CEO Salil Donde, who will be a strategic advisor to the company. Meanwhile, former head of trading Kapil Rathi will become COO and former CTO Joe Ventura will be the new CIO of the company.

A founding member of the company, Telyatnikov has been with AlphaPoint since 2014. Previously, Telyatnikov served as managing director at venture firm Cvetlo and led business development at online advertising firm LiftDNA.

“I am honored to take on the role of Chief Executive Officer,” said Telyatnikov in the statement. “This is an incredibly exciting time for AlphaPoint given the growth we’ve experienced this past year."
