Bangkok based securities broker plans to offer tokenized real estate on Tezos by summer

Thai based Seamico Securities Digital, a brokerage company backed by Elevated Returns, has officially announced its received its Thai ICO portal license which will allow it to issue real estate security tokens.

Today, the President of Elevated Returns, Stephane De Beats, announced on his Twitter profile that Seamico Securities Digital received its Thai ICO portal license. With the permit now secured it plans to begin issuing tokens through the Tezos platform by this summer.

Recently, Elevated Returns, a financial group, announced with their compliance partner, Securitize, that they would be tokenizing $1B worth of real estate on the Tezos’ public blockchain.

As part of the announcement, Elevated Returns acquired 21 percent of Seamico Securities Digital, a securities brokerage company based in Bangkok. The acquisition was to help with the necessary regulatory framework to tokenize real estate in Thailand and other parts of Southeast Asia.
