eToro launches cryptocurrency exchange available in 31 U.S. states

Users in 31 U.S. states and territories now have access to eToro’s cryptocurrency exchange and can trade in 13 currently unspecified cryptocurrencies, the company announced today. eToro portfolio holders will be able to use the CopyTrader and CopyPortfolios features—also available for other investments. Three CopyPortfolios options will be available to users, with new options expected with the addition of new crypto assets.

According to Yoni Assia, co-founder and CEO of eToro, "For the first time, Americans can collaborate with other crypto traders when making buying and selling decisions. Users can adjust their trading strategies by watching and learning from others on the platform."

Moreover, U.S.-based clients can now use eToro's crypto wallet. It currently supports six cryptocurrencies—bitcoin, ether, litecoin, bitcoin cash, ripple and stellar, and is available for both Android and iOS.
